At Wiseowls Learning, we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our web site. In particular, we want you to know that Wiseowls Learning has no intention of selling, renting or trading email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. We just don’t do that sort of thing. But to explain further, in this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided lots of detailed information on when and why we collect your personal information, how we use it, the limited conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep it secure.

 

Types of data we collect

Website cookies

Some cookies collect information about browsing when you access this website. This includes information about pages viewed and your journey around a website. We do not use cookies to collect or record information on your name, address or other contact details. The main purpose which cookies are used is for technical purposes essential to the effective operation of our website.

When someone visits www.wiseowlslearning.co.uk or www.wiseowlslearning.com we use Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

 

Ticketing/booking data

When you book any of our products online your name, address data, email and contact number will be stored in our system. You may, of course, book one of our sessions in person without supplying the aforementioned personal data online. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company.

 

Mailing lists

We would only contact you with details about offers, events, and services, such as mock exams, intense revision workshops and school open evenings that might be of interest to you or if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We may contact you to share your experience with others on the review site Trustpilot. The information you have provided online or in paper form will only be used to offer information and advice tailored to you and to ensure that we do not provide you with any services, which may be unsuitable.  We may contact you in the future regarding your child’s ongoing educational needs and offer you the opportunity of returning to our service.

We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses. We take your privacy very seriously and will not pass your information to any other parties.

Our site contains links to other recommended websites, which have their own privacy policies. Wiseowls Learning cannot accept any responsibility or liability for those websites or their policies.

 

Access to your personal information

It is inefficient for us to hold personal data that we do not need. Therefore, we regularly review our information and erase or anonymise personal data when we no longer require it. You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer at info@wiseowlslearning.com

 

Duty of care

We have a duty of care for the well-being of our learners. Your information will only be shared with appropriate bodies if a safeguarding situation or emergency occurs.
